My Favourite Nudes

A nude lipstick means something different to different people. After working on a makeup counter, you learn that one lipstick does not suit all and that it’s probably one of the most personal makeup products. You could search for a nude coloured lipstick or a lipstick which looks nude on your natural lip colour. For me, I like my neutral lipsticks to be a pinky/peachy colour, I find thats what suits me most. These are some of my favourites…

My all time favourite and a much loved classic is the Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in the shade Pillowtalk. A creamy matte finish and very long wearing paired with its matching lip pencil, the colour is a very neutral toned pink.

I grabbed this one the same day I bought Pillowtalk, the Charlotte Tilbury gloss in Fresh Rose is the lipgloss of dreams. The applicator is shaped in a pretty heart and the formula has a minty fresh scent.

My lips are pretty much always dry in the winter time, this nude lipstick is a part of the Bobbi Brown Nourishing Lip Colour range. The formula is infused with natural oils to hydrate the lips but also offers a good amount of colour coverage. The shade name is Ballerina Pink, the perfect pinky/peach.

I have a wide collection of Bobbi Brown glosses, one I always reach for is Pastel, a pink sparkly colour.

The most matte formula of my favourites, Velvet Teddy by Mac is an oldie but a goodie. This one is more of a browny nude.

A brand I don’t have a lot of is Tom Ford, I don’t pick up this lipstick as much as the others but it’s still one I like to wear. A lot more of a coral with a semi matte finish.
