Beauty Christmas Gift Guide For Her

Hello everyone!
With Christmas right around the corner, I thought I would share my thoughts on a few beauty themed gift ideas for your mum, sister, girlfriend etc. Depending on your relationship with this lucky lady, I’ve included presents to suit anyone, from stocking fillers to indulgent gift sets.

Let’s start with stocking fillers, most beauty brands will already stock miniature editions of their best selling products. However at Christmas time you can usually find even more mini’s and mini sets, which is great as you could spilt up the gift sets and give each mini individually.
You can never go wrong with body care products! These mini Jo Malone bath oil and bath soaps are perfect as they give a sense of luxury without you having to spend a fortune. If you’re a confident shopper and know who you’re buying for you could opt for a colour product such as a lipstick or a blusher. MAC are great for a wide range of colours for any age.

Alongside body care, I hardly ever buy myself hair products and I love to receive gifts that I wouldn’t usually buy. My favourite couple of brands for hair care is Aveda and Bumble and Bumble. This year I found some really great gift sets for different hair types by both companies. A hairbrush is also a great idea for gifting as it’s one of those items girls really need and a good one can make a huge difference to the condition of your hair.

One of the most requested gifts are usually eyeshadows or eyeshadow palettes. Christmas time is definitely the goldmine for palettes and luckily most brands bring out a few with different shades so you have a bit more choice. You could either opt for a more pricey bigger palette like this one from Smashbox or beautiful single shadows like these from Bobbi Brown.

Finding that perfect fragrance can be a minefield as there are just so many. Thankfully gifting is made easier with the help of gift sets. I found this Clinique one which is perfect as it includes a pretty gift bag, the full size fragrance and also a roll on version as well. Or if you know what you’re looking for you could take the plunge and buy the perfume on its own, this Estee Lauder one is so pretty and feminine.

The easiest (and sometimes more expensive) gift ideas can be make-up sets. Most beauty brands will bring new ones out each year, the great thing about them is they usually contain a little bit of everything.

If you’re struggling on the make-up side to things due to colour products, why not try skin care or body care sets! Clinique are always great for these and they usually contain both full size and mini versions of favourite products.

I love Christmas for giving gifts, from wrapping them up all pretty to watching people open them, it’s my favourite part! I hope this guide has given a little insight into what you could look for while on the hunt for that perfect present.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
